About Bursa

As the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, Bursa is one of the most important cities of Turkey because of its history, culture, rich cuisine, natural beauties of Uludağ, which is one of the most popular skiing location in the world.
Bursa is the 4th most populous city in Turkey, ranked first in Turkey and ranked 28th in the world at 2016 World's Livable Cities. It is also the capital of the automotive industry. The oldest known archeological remains in Bursa are known as Ilıpınar near Menteşe Höyüğü and Orhangazi near Yenişehir. The oldest layers of these archaeological finds are about 7 thousand years old.
